Our services.

Youth Group

We offer culturally responsive, peer-led support services designed to foster healing and overall well-being for BIPOC youth and young adults. Our program provides on-site, one-on-one counseling and Peer-led support groups that create a safe space for self-exploration, resilience-building, and personal growth. We integrate mindfulness, meditation, and art therapy through a holistic approach to health and wellness, empowering participants to heal from trauma, strengthen their mental and emotional well-being, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Parent Group

At O.U.R. Journey Skagit, we understand the vital role parents play in supporting their children's growth and well-being. Manos Juntas Corazon Fuertes (Hands Together, Strong Hearts) is a parent group designed to empower families by offering a supportive community where parents can connect, share experiences, and gain valuable insights into the challenges their children face—especially those related to gang attraction, trauma, and the pressures of adolescence. By creating a space for open dialogue and shared wisdom, we help parents build stronger, more informed relationships with their kids. Currently, our groups are offered in Spanish, ensuring accessibility for the Spanish-speaking community. Together, we strengthen families and build resilience in our youth.

At-risk and Youth Reentry Intervention

To engage marginalized youth by fostering reconnection and reintegration into society through comprehensive resources, strong support systems, and impactful programs—empowering them to heal, grow, and build a successful future.

Barber & Beauty Shop Behaviorial Health Project

Behavioral health services are being integrated into trusted spaces like barber and beauty shops to destigmatize mental health, increase accessibility, and foster community wellness. By training barbers and beauticians as credible messengers, we empower them to provide supportive conversations and connect individuals to resources.

Focusing on early intervention and strong community support networks, we bridge the gap between mental health care and those who need it most—creating a more inclusive, resilient, and supportive environment for all.
